GINO CARINO

Gino is the human-centered design advocate at Magis. He champions the Person, whether he or she is the designer, engineer, worker, and especially client. He believes that only by designing solutions that address the authentic, relevant, and latent needs of people can we truly make an impact. That holds true for any design initiative — for homes, products, methods, systems, partnerships, businesses.

Gino’s work, both past and present, has been aligned with this advocacy. He has been an artist, a supply chain professional, a graphic designer, 3D modeller, a weapons manufacturer and now a home builder. He is naturally drawn to new technologies, new ways of doing things, and embraces digital technology more than most but always from the viewpoint of addressing real, human needs. He is eager to make impact in a property industry that’s ripe for disruption.

Paolo PERIQUET

Paolo believes that good design can transform communities, strengthen economies and increase well-being. His love affair with design started when he saw how it transformed dodgy neighborhoods into desirable addresses in many parts of the world. As a result, he left the finance world to build the Magis Group, a movement meant to uplift communities through democratized design, and transforming a construction industry largely unloved and left out of meaningful innovation.

Paolo wears many hats in Magis. He heads both brand strategy and business development, and is our Minister of Culture. He is a strong believer in entrepreneurship being a force for good and social change.

MAYE YAO-CO SAY

Maye Yao Co Say is in charge of sales for Magis Home. With her 20-year experience in business, she aims to bring Magis Home into the forefront of “Branded Residential Ecosystems”.

Maye was always drawn to Philippine art and literature, and believes the country can build and succeed through its “creative wealth”. She joined Magis because of this cause, loving the opportunity to elevate norms and build art.

Maye has been in the board of directors of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) since 2011. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Richwell Phils. Group of Companies, a distributor of branded family products.

She is big on family. Her passions are reflected in a weekly parenting columnist for the Business Mirror where she takes on the challenges of 21st century parenting. She is a co-creator of the Ogalala System-in-Care and Play, a unique program on parent education from birth to 8 years old.

ADRIAN DIZON

Adrian plays an integral role as our lead engineer. He sees every home from infancy, adolescence to mature years. His knowledge of engineering and understanding of the building process allows us to faithfully execute the designs of our partner-architects and exceed building standards.

As the second generation of a renowned family of builders, Adrian has over 25 years experience in residential and hospitality construction and has worked on notable landmarks in the country. He is a founding partner at Magis Construction.

GERSON ASIS

For over thirty years, Gerson’s love and appreciation of design and craftsmanship has given him a sense of accomplishment collaborating with the top design firms of the country. Wired to solve problems, he takes ownership in every house he builds and feels great pride being entrusted with something as intimate as one’s living space.

He is an architect by training, and is one of the best at executing residential-grade interiors. He is a brilliant balance of method and art, and has worked on the most number of published and award-winning projects in the team.
